Hi Cassie!
Thanks for continuing to use planDisney for your Disney vacation planning! You are in for lots of MAGIC when you set sail for Nassau, Castaway Cay and Key West on your
Very Merrytime Cruise. What a fun itinerary and a great way to get in the spirit for the holiday SEAson!
There’s just something about the select itineraries that offer seasonal SAILabrations at sea; they have that extra level of WOW! A Very Merrytime cruise with the entire family sounds like a magical way to celebrate the holidays. Just as you can expect the ship to be decorated bow to stern with extra holiday touches,
Castaway Cay will also be a winter wonderland, decorated with a Christmas tree and even some “snow” floating down. Visions of Disney characters dance in my head, even if they have to socially distance a bit from Guests. I'm not aware of any holiday activities ashore, but stay tuned to any news of this on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or ask once you set foot on the island.
As far as holiday-themed activities onboard, the ship is constantly abuzz with fun seasonal activities. Make time for Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball and Mickey's Tree Lighting Ceremony; these scheduled events will be listed on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Not to mention caroling and a beautiful gingerbread house certain to have your mouth watering! The Disney Parks Blog has a great
Very Merrytime must do list that I think you should read.
Good luck and pixie dust planning your holiday adventure at sea. I hope you will cruise back to planDisney if you have any additional questions before you set sail, Cassie!
Seasons Greetings!
Sherry
