is the cast away island age appropiate, I mean comfortable for a 5 month old? they don't like the sun as much as we do, so .... I've never taken her to the beach yet.....

    Hi Santa,

You're asking this question of a mom who took her baby to Walt Disney World in the summer when he was 3 months old!  Take the baby to Castaway Cay.  She'll love it, and so will you.  Now, I do suggest that you take her in the early morning and if it gets too hot for her, you will at least have gotten a chance to see the beautiful island.

The good news is that you'll be able to find some shady spots on the beach, and there are many beach umbrellas available, free of charge.  Of course, the earlier you arrive the greater your chances to claim a great spot.  I have been to Castaway Cay several times and have seen a few families using small pop up tents for their babies.  I think that as long as it's portable and you can pack it in your luggage you should be fine.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel Santa.  Have a wonderful trip!
