Hiya Jacqueline - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort holidays!
Jacqueline, I'm not aware of any dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort that have limitations on using cash as a form of payment. There are sometimes small kiosks offering beverages in some attraction queues from time to time that may be cash-only, but this is relatively rare. You should be all set if that's how you'd like to pay during your upcoming summer holiday!
Since you're asking about food, and paying for it, it's worth mentioning
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering through the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. This service allows you to place an order on your smartphone and lets you know when your food is ready to pick up! This is one option that doesn't allow cash payments. If you're interested in using Mobile Ordering during your visit, I recommend using some of that cash to purchase a Disney Gift Card which is a valid method of payment within the app!
Get ready to make some magical memories, Jacqueline! There is so much new magic to explore, including the brand-new
TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park. If you're able to, I recommend purchasing an
Individual Lightning Lane to experience this new attraction at night. The lights of the canopy at night add a little extra pixie dust to this attraction!
