Can you use cash in the park

    Welcome, Joe!

We're so happy you found our magical corner of the internet here at planDisney. With your visit just a few sleeps away, I bet you are getting excited to experience the happy haunts of Halloween Time mixed with the day-to-day magic. Whether you're grabbing a pumpkin-flavored treat or a pair of Mickey ears, let's chat about payment method options while you are out and about in the parks.

I have some good news for you! Cash is accepted at all retail and dining locations throughout the parks. Disneyland is not a cashless experience at this time, so you should be all set bringing your wallet with you and enjoying a churro or two (or three!). There are also several ATMs that you can find directly in the Disneyland Mobile App in case you need to replenish. If you open up the app and tap the search icon in the bottom navigation bar, type "ATM" and the locations will be revealed on the park map so you can find the nearest one.

The one area where you may run into a hiccup is if you're planning to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass during your visit. Typically, these payments are done digitally via the Disneyland App. If you have any questions, you can give the Guest Services team a call or stop by City Hall or the Chamber of Commerce to ask a Cast Member directly once you are on the ground.

The best part about visiting this week is that while you get to enjoy all that Halloween Time has to offer, you can also still enjoy a taste of the 70th Anniversary. If you take a look at the Entertainment Schedule for Thursday, October 30th, you can earmark a few must-see nighttime spectaculars. If it were me, I would grab a spot on Main Street to watch the 8:30 PM performance of the Paint the Night parade, and then head into the street itself to catch one of the last performances of Halloween Screams with projections at 9:30 PM, which will disappear into the night after its final performance on the 31st! Truly, the best of both worlds all in one evening.

Joe, I hope this has been helpful and that you are well on your way to enjoying the magic. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    All the best,
    Tara
