Hello Alexis, welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to have you here. As someone who loves to plan, I can already tell that we have a lot in common. I think we're going to get along fabulously.
Great news! You can use cash as payment all over the
Walt Disney World Resort! They also accept major credit and debit cards, including the Disney Visa card, other Visa cards, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, JCB, and Diner's Club. Additionally, you can use Disney Gift Cards at Disney-operated locations. If you're not keen on using a regular debit or credit card, I recommend getting a
Disney Gift Card. You can load it up with your entire trip budget and check the balance on the website whenever you want. Plus, you can take advantage of
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering on your mobile device to skip lines and get your food faster while in the parks! If you're using cash, you'll need to get in line at every dining location, so a Disney Gift Card is an excellent idea for convenience.
One thing you want to remember while planning your dining experiences at Disney World is that to make
Advanced Dining Reservations, you'll need a credit card as a placeholder. Don't worry, though; most places won't charge your card until you've finished your meal. If you're planning to dine at
Cinderella's Royal Table, just keep in mind that they require payment in advance. However, if you prefer to pay in cash, you can do so at all dining locations at the end of your meal.
Alexis, thanks for reaching out! Managing my budget on family trips is super important to me, so I really loved your question. If you have any other questions,
don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers
Nilson
