    Is cash currently excepted in the parks?

    Hey there, DJ! Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question. I’m happy to see you here! 

    Yes, you can still use cash at Disneyland Resort! However, you won’t be able to leverage making in-app purchases in the Disneyland mobile app. One potential workaround to this is to purchase a Disney Gift Card with your cash, at any Disney gift shop, once you arrive. Then, you can use the Disney Gift Card number to make purchases in the app. (Keep in mind you’ll need to manually enter the Disney Gift Card number, as you can’t link it to your account in the app – what I typically do is type the Disney Gift Card number into my notepad and cut/paste it into the payment window when needed.)

    Examples of in-app purchases include adding Disney Genie+ to your day, purchasing Individual Lightning Lanes, Mobile Ordering, Merchandise Mobile Checkout and Disney PhotoPass purchases.
