Hello, Elena! Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for sailing our way with your questions.
You are just a few days away from stepping aboard the
Disney Magic, and I bet you can't wait for your vacation to begin! I'm happy to share that you are welcome to bring a case of water in your carry-on luggage. Some guests like to split up water bottles among carry-on bags to distribute the weight, but if you have a bag no larger than 9" x 14" x 22" that comfortably fits your water case, you are good to go! Remember that you will need to have your carry-on bags with you until your stateroom is available, which is typically around 1:30 p.m. on embarkation day.
When it comes to capturing memories during your sailing, you can
book an Unlimited Digital Photo Package. If you pre-book your photo package at least three days before you set sail, you can even enjoy a discount. If you'd like to pre-book a photo package, head to the
Disney Cruise Line website, and hover your mouse over the Already Booked tab on the main menu. This is going to be on the top right side of the page. Select the third option, "Book/Manage Cruise Activities." If you aren't already signed into your account, you'll be prompted to sign in to manage your booking.
Once signed in, select"My Plans" and then you should be able to select “Cruise Activities.” Then, click “Onboard Fun.” Once you’ve accessed “Onboard Fun,” select any day of your cruise and choose the photo package you'd like to add.
You only need to choose the name of one Guest in your stateroom to select the package you want.
Throughout the cruise, take as many photos as you'd like! The photographers will ask for your stateroom number for the photos to be associated with your account.
Be sure to stop by Shutters Photography Shop during your sailing to view and download your cruise pictures. After your Disney Cruise, you will have 45 days from the time each photo was taken to download all of your purchased cruise photos before they expire. I find it most convenient to download photos to my phone while still on the ship, so I encourage you and your travel crew to do the same!
Elena, there will be many opportunities to take photos with special backdrops, while greeting Disney Characters, or even with unique props or photo effects. You can keep track of when these photo opportunities will be available within the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard.
One final tip, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you leave home! It will be your handy compass to guide you toward all of the fun activities, delicious dining, and enchanting entertainment onboard. Have the best time ever!
Bon Voyage!
