Will Carthay Circle have anything to replace the spooky tree flights this year?

Hi there, Sandy! Sending you a frightfully fun welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! I can see why you’re curious about the Halloween merchandise at the Disneyland Resort—last year’s Spooky Tree Flight at Carthay Circle Lounge was the talk of Buena Vista Street! That lounge is such a special spot, with its golden-age Hollywood glamour and balcony views of Disney California Adventure Park, so it’s the perfect place to sip something seasonal. As of now, I haven’t spotted the Spooky Tree Flights in the Disneyland Halloween Foodie Guide for 2025 over on the Disney Parks Blog, and no official word has been shared about their return. But one of my favorite things about Halloween Time is that it often surprises us with unexpected delights, so keep your eyes peeled—sometimes treats appear like ghosts out of the fog!

Even if the flights don’t make a comeback, the Resort is bubbling over with frightfully fun novelties this year. Picture sipping a cold drink that glows from within thanks to the new Oogie Boogie Moon Glow Cube, or carrying your popcorn in a Mickey Mouse Ghost Bucket that lights the way like a lantern in the night. The Pluto Skeleton Sipper has already captured my heart, and I’m hoping to pick one up next time I’m there! Over in Cars Land, the Lighted Cone Sipper will have you glowing as brightly as the neon on Route 66. With choices like these, you may find yourself collecting more keepsakes than candy!

And the fun stretches beyond the parks, Sandy! Don’t skip the Halloween treats and treasures at the Disneyland Resort Hotels and Downtown Disney District. Between seasonal sips at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and the merchandise displays that feel like a pumpkin patch of pixie dust, there’s magic tucked around every corner. Speaking of… Here’s a special pro tip just for you: be sure to check out the Great Hall Cart in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This year, it’s serving a Halloween Gingerbread Skeleton Cookie that looks every bit as delectable as the beloved Mickey-shaped treat offered during the holidays. It’s the kind of seasonal surprise that makes Halloween Time feel extra magical.

Sandy, whether or not Carthay Circle unveils something new, you’ll discover no shortage of eerie enchantments and sweet surprises during your visit. Each find will help you carry a little of that Halloween magic home long after you leave the parks.

Wishing you a boo-tiful Halloween season filled with glowing memories, ghostly giggles, and just the right amount of spooktacular fun!
