Are carseats required for a 3 year old on the Magic Express and transportation to and from the resorts and parks?

Hello Matthew, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I am so happy to hear that you are putting the finishing touches on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Safety of all guests is a top priority while you here. You are not required to use a car seat while onboard Disney’s Magical Express. You can hold your Mouseketeer on your lap during your trip to your Disney Resort Hotel. If your airline requires your child to travel in a car seat, they can be stored underneath the bus along with your other carry on items and then retrieved when you arrive at your resort.

As a guest of a Disney Resort Hotel using Disney Bus Transportation, you will find the buses are not equipped with seatbelts to secure a car seat, so they are not required. You can hold your Mouseketeer in your lap or in the seat next to you. If you plan to travel by Minnie Van during your stay, each vehicle comes with two (2) car seats for your use. I hope that helps with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
