Is the cars section in the art of animation resort open to the public if you’re not a guest? Thanks!

Ka-chow! Amanda and welcome to planDisney. Get your engines ready to visit Radiator Springs, well, Radiator Springs at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. All your favorite 4-wheeled friends are there for pictures.

All Guests of Walt Disney World Resort are welcome to visit any Disney Resort hotel and that includes the most sensational, celebrational, Disney's Art of Animation Resort. We have visited many times while not staying there by car, Disney Skyliner, and Walt Disney World Bus Service. If you go by car, parking is complimentary. Tell the gate guard that you are visiting to shop, dine, and explore. They will likely ask for identification. Once through, you will arrive at the lobby, Animation Hall, where Landscape of Flavors has several bays of delicious treats and excellent shopping. When you are done, pass through the building admiring the original artwork from classic Walt Disney Animation and Pixar movies, then head to your right to visit Radiator Springs.

planDisney Pro Tip: The Disney Skyliner is the easiest way to get to Disney's Art of Animation Resort from EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios. The gondolas offer traffic-free transportation above and around Walt Disney World Resort.

Amanda, please ask me directly any follow-up questions to help make your Disney vacation dreams come true.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
