Greetings Michael, "Ka-Chow!" The
Cars film series is one of my family's favorites, we spend a ton of time in
Cars Land every time we visit Disney California Adventure Park.
I have not seen Finn McMissile in the parks for meet and greets, but the
Disneyland App is the best place to see where your favorite pals are out greeting Guests. You can open up the Disneyland app, and click the location icon in the bottom navigation bar. You can then scroll over to the Mickey Mouse icon and tap "Characters," and you'll see more Mickey Mouse icons throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park to indicate where character meet and greets are located. You can also click "Show List" in the bottom right-hand corner to see a list of what characters are currently appearing.
You are able to
meet some of the residents of Radiator Springs at the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land, and usually you can meet either Lightning McQueen or Mater! It's always such a fun interaction with both characters, my son got to floss Mater's teeth one time, it is such a fun memory.
One of my favorite experiences is to watch the neon lights turn on at sunset along Route 66 in Cars Land. You can ask a Cast Member in the area of what time they will turn on, but I usually look up what time the sun will set in Anaheim, CA and make sure I'm in Cars Land about 10 minutes beforehand. The lights will progressively light up down Route 66 set to the movie soundtrack, it's truly such a magical moment!
