Cars Land has never been closed during my visits to Disney California Adventure Park, so I think you will be good to go. Entire lands don't typically shut down in my experience, although attractions do sometimes close for refurbishment. However, Cars Land is typically one of the most decorated areas in California Adventure Park during
Halloween Time, and I highly doubt any Cars Land attractions will be closed the week of Halloween (subject to change, of course).
The
Hours & Events Calendar hasn't been updated for October yet, but I did check the hours of operation for October 2025. California Adventure Park was usually open until 9:00 PM (Pacific Time), except on the
Oogie Boogie Bash days when it closed at 6:00 PM PT.
Oogie Boogie Bash is the "funtastic" Halloween Party where Guests can usually wear costumes and enjoy trick-or-treating with the fabulous Disney Villains, catch special entertainment, and ride many attractions with low wait times. This is a separately ticketed event, and Guests without party tickets need to exit the park when it closes. Oogie Boogie Bash is taking place on October 27, 2026 (and on many other dates), and I recommend getting tickets if you can. It is one of my most favorite events!
