We are carrying out our Prince who will be 5 whilst staying WDW and our Princess who would have just turn 3 1 day before arriving at WDW. We want to celebrate both birthdays on our son's birthday and they both love the Disney characters where can we dine?

    Hello, Jo!

What a wonderful celebration you'll have--two on the same day!

There are many great restaurants which will make an enormous fuss over your little ones for their birthdays!

Two of our favorite locations for birthday celebrations include Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and The Crystal Palace, at Magic Kingdom.  Both are Character Dining experiences, and both offer absolutely delicious buffets.  Chef Mickey's will bring out a special place mat for the birthday girl and boy (which allows the characters and Cast Members to know who is celebrating his or her big day) and, at dessert time, a special cupcake with a candle on it will be delivered to the birthday celebrants as well.

The Crystal Palace, on the other hand, offers an opportunity for your birthday celebrants to join the characters as they parade around the restaurant; this is often a very favorite memory for the little ones, and it's a great chance for Mom and Dad to get some great pictures, too!  A special cupcake with a candle in it will also arrive for the birthday boy and girl, at dessert time, along with a card signed by all of the characters!

Check out more specifics on these options, as well as other possibilities at the list of Character Dining options on Walt Disney World's website.  There are plenty more to choose from, in addition to our personal favorites mentioned above.

    Have a magical celebration!
