Do you have to carry a clear purse or clear fannie pack into the parks? Or, can you carry a string back pack?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mindi!

This is a great question--so glad that you asked it!

I know the type of clear bags you are referring to, as these are the only bags allowed into certain venues, such as some college stadiums. For that reason, I've got one of my own!

Not to worry, though. When visiting Walt Disney World, your bags do not have to be clear. Instead, you'll go through a bag check prior to entering parks, as well as a metal detector.

Your idea of a string backpack is a great idea, too, as bags that weigh less will be more comfortable for a fun-filled day of touring. I typically bring the lightest bag that has wider straps, much like some of these adorable ShopDisney backpacks; they keep my shoulders more comfortable on those longer park days. Toss in some sunscreen, a water bottle, hand sanitizer, and some snacks, and you'll be all set for a day and night that's filled with adventure!

Happy planning your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Mindi! As you think of more questions, be sure to send them our way. We love to help!
