The Florida residency status is a strictly regulated benefit for those who actually reside in the Citrus State. Directly from the Walt Disney World Website is the following line regarding park tickets, "Proof of a Florida residential address fro each Guest age 18 or older is required for purchase and use."
Provided that you show your proof of Florida residency for each adult in your party, you have met the requirements. Your citizenship is not an issue for Disney. What matters is that you and your family arrive at the parks prepared to have an amazing time and willing to be magically taken away into a world of fun in the happiest place on earth!
