Carrie...I have been researching everywhere about the Disney Runs and have seen that you have actually run them yourself. I am running the Marathon in January and can't beleive how early they are suggesting to be there! Do I have to be there that early?

    Hi Chris,

    Thank you for your question.

Congratulations on deciding to run the marathon in January, that is awesome!!!

I am a big fan of runDisney events and I have run a number of Disney's half marathon's.  Once you run one, you will be hooked!! After each one, I cannot wait to run another one, because they are fun and filled with exciting things along the race course!!!

It is painfully true that you need to be on the bus and shuttled over well before the sun comes up.  It gives everyone time to get to their corral, you can do a light warm up, use the porta-potty.

Once the fire works go off and you start running you won't be feeling any tiredness from being up so early, you will have pure energy and excitement!

Make sure to visit the pre race expo, there are always new and interesting running tools, gadgets, and information there.

Way to go on deciding to run the marathon!!

    Wishing you speed and endurance!!
