    Hello for Carrie. I have been reading that there are some great deals at the expo before the marathon. Do you think it would be a good idea to get new shoes there? Thank, you've been a lot of help!

    Hi Chris,

    Thank you for your question, I am glad to help!

    The pre race expo is always fantastic.  New products, seminars, and sales!

    If you find a great deal then pick it up but please don't wear brand new shoes to run your race. You need to break them in and see if they are actually comfortable!  You don't want to be in agony at mile 9.

    If you find new shoes then shop away but train with them first!!
