We are going to the Carribean Resort at the end of May 2008. We are concerned that the main pool will be shut. The waterslides installed at the other pools, will they be big enough for teenages to use? Are there any pictures of these?

I understand your concern. Truthfully I would switch to a different resort. A pool rehab can be rather unsightly and detract from the beauty of a resort.

Although you'll be able to continue to use the 6 quiet pools scattered throughout the Caribbean Beach Resort (CBR), the temporary slides are definitely child-size.

If you visit disboards.com, go to the Search function near the top, right side of your screen. It is inside a blue bar, written in white. The first search result will be for CBR Frequently Asked Questions Part 3. Click on this hit and scroll through the pictures. You'll see the current status of the pool rehab as well as a picture of the temporary slides. They are for small children and not very attractive looking.

The CBR is a beautiful resort and we enjoyed our stay there. But I would wait and stay there when the new pirate slide and themed pool has opened.
