Does the Carribean Beach Resort have shovels, pails, and other beach toys to use at the beach area?

Hi Kerry, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's hit the beach at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!

I'm a lifelong Florida girl and I adore the beach, so the Caribbean Beach Resort is near and dear to my heart. There's nothing better than sinking into a beach chair while my little guy busies himself with a shovel and pail in the sand. That's the Florida life!

You will find some beach toys available for purchase in the Calypso Straw Market shop, but you can certainly feel free to bring your own from home and save a little money. I picked up a couple of inexpensive items for my son before leaving and kept them as a special surprise when we got there.

If you don't want to take up space in your luggage with beach toys, here's one of my favorite tips: if you buy a kid's meal at the Old Port Royale Food Court, it will come tucked inside a small sand pail, with a shovel attached. Lunchtime and playtime, covered!

I hope this helps your family have lots of fun in the sun at my favorite Walt Disney World Resort, Kerry. Please surf on by again if we can answer any more questions for you.

    Have a magical day,

    Kathy K

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
