Howdy Danielle!
You have a night planned that will provide memories for a lifetime! A relaxing
Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground followed by one of my favorite character dining experiences at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White!
Danielle, you should have plenty of time to get to your dinner reservation after your scenic trail ride through Fort Wilderness which takes approximately 25 minutes. After your Carriage ride is complete, I would recommend heading down to the boat dock at Fort Wilderness and jumping on the
blue launch water taxi that will take you to
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for your dinner reservation with Snow White! The short ride should only take around five minutes! The blue launch route around Bay Lake starts running between Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness after 3pm most days.
Do make sure you take the blue flag route! There is also a green flag route that will take you directly from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom. On this night you don’t want that route!
Once you arrive at Wildness Lodge just follow the walkway toward the main building and follow the signs toward the lobby area and Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho it’s off to Artist Point you go!
Dopey is my all-time favorite, and he is always ready for a hug! Watch out for The Queen! Our family had some riveting conversations with her during a recent visit! The food is amazing and for dessert this is one “Poison” Apple that I highly recommend!
Danielle, after your enchanted evening with Snow White, take some time to relax in the majestic Wilderness Lodge lobby. Sit by the fire, people watch, and maybe even grab one last Mickey Bar to enjoy as a nightcap!
If you are heading back to Fort Wilderness, the blue flag launch usually runs until around 10:45pm, but please check with the cast members at the dock to confirm the running times on your particular day.
Danielle I hope you have a magical time and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
