The carriage ride- how many adults and kids does each hold? Is it one price for everyone or per person?

Thanks for stopping by planDisney Gwenn. I’ll be happy to help with your question.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is one of the most scenic resorts I have experienced. It makes complete sense why this is one of the locations at the Walt Disney World Resort that offers a Horse Drawn Excursions. This 25-minute ride at the Riverside Levee Marina takes you along charming pathways along the Sassagoula River. These rides are not per person cost but for the entire carriage. Each carriage can fit up to 4 adults at a time. You can also break down the carriage count into 2 adults and 3 small children. Advanced reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days before your visit. Arrive 15 minutes ahead of your reservation to check in at the Riverside Levee Marina. While you are in the area before or after you should visit Scat Cat’s Club- Cafe for a special treat. This location is at the sister resort Port Orleans - French Quarter and is always serving up the freshest beignets. You will not be disappointed with the vibes of this location either as it is right next to the Scat Cat’s Club- Lounge and sometimes has live entertainment.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has a similar carriage ride in terms of cost and amount of people the carriage can carry. This ride will take you through a pine and cypress forest along the scenic trails of this resort. You would also want to make reservations for this experience. Look for Crockett’s Tavern and directly across from the main entrance is where you will check in 15 minutes before your reservation time. You will want to leave much earlier than that because at this resort you will need to park your vehicle and take a complimentary bus ride to the Settlement Depot.

These two carriage rides are fun and very relaxing. I hope this information helps you secure your spots on whichever you think your group may like best. If you have any other questions please reach back out to planDisney.com and we will be ready to help.

    Have a magical day,
