Jambo Amy! I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney with another great question. How exciting that your very merry vacation is almost here!
It so happens that while visiting
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park just a few days ago, a few of my fellow panelists and I spent some time playing the
Fossil Fun Games in DinoLand U.S.A! Lured into the area by the dazzling holiday lights and decorations, we attempted to win some adorable stuffed dinosaurs for our junior paleontologists. Cast Members were quick to sanitize all items involved in gameplay, and we were very impressed with the health and safety measures in place.
To get in on the fun, you'll need to buy one ticket for each game you would like to play. The ticket booth is located near the entrance of
TriceraTop Spin. We tapped our
MagicBands to purchase, but cash and credit cards are also accepted. Tickets were $5 apiece when we played, but this price is subject to change without notice. Once purchased, you can use the tickets at any game you like. Mom tip: we had the most success at the "comet toss" game.
During the current phase of reopening, the
Boneyard is temporarily unavailable. Young dinosaur enthusiasts can explore the surrounding area and enjoy the
DINOSAUR attraction or its nearby exhibits if the time travel experience is too intense. Also, be sure to watch for Chip and Dale dressed in their DinoLand U.S.A. best as they float down the Discovery River.
I hope this helps as you prepare to have some prehistoric fun in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I can't wait for you to see how the park is adorned for the holiday season. If you're in the area once the sun has gone down, keep your eyes on the
Tree of Life as it awakens with seasonal magic; it is so beautiful! Amy, please stop by and see us again if there is anything else we can do before your adventure begins.
Kwaherini!
Betsy
