Welcome to planDisney, Kelly!
A November trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds... well, magical! Did you know that the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will run until November 19? This is a unique and wonderful way to taste delicious food and drink from various cultures around the world. It's one of my personal favorite events at Walt Disney World. Be sure to check it out!
You'll be pleased to know that there are designated parking areas throughout Walt Disney World Resort for Guests with disabilities. You'll just need a valid disability parking permit. These parking lots areas are located closer to the theme park entrances. If you would like more information, there is a section on the website for
parking for Guests with Disabilities.
Right now, courtesy trams are only running at Magic Kingdom Park. However, you can't fit ECV mobility scooters on these trams, I'm afraid. Since Magic Kingdom Park is notoriously far away from the parking lot, you'll be glad to hEAR that there is a designated parking area for disabled Guests located towards the front of the Ticket and Transportation Center parking lot. This is a very short distance away from the Ferry and Monorail. And both the Ferry and Monorail can accommodate Guests with ECV scooters. Therefore, you shouldn't need to take a courtesy tram. If you need further directions on parking options, once you're on this side of the Atlantic, you can call (407) 824-2222 and speak to a helpful Cast Member at Guest Services.
I hope that's helpful, Kelly. If you'd like more information on how Guests with disabilities can maximize their magic at Walt Disney World, make sure you check out the
Services for Guests with Disabilities page.
I hope you have an enchanting time at Walt Disney World, Kelly. Don't hesitate to stop by planDisney again.
