    in Caribbean beach, it seems the pirate rooms only have 2 queen beds. Are there any pirate rooms with 1 king bed? also, are the pirate rooms newer than the non-pirate rooms? thanks

    Hi Katie!

    My husband surprised me with a stay in a Pirate Room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort last year.  The rooms do only have two queen beds.  The rooms are newer in a sense that they've been renovated, but they are in original buildings of the resort.  My kids loved the theme, especially sleeping in a pirate ship bed.  The buildings that house the pirate rooms are quite a distance to the main pool, but they are still within walking distance.
