Hi Alesha,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Just today I booked a stay at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and I am beyond excited to relax with those pastel colors, Calypso music, and tropical drinks! I just love the vacation vibes of this resort, which is extra dreamy at sunrise and sunset, when Florida's cotton candy skies are reflected in the lake.
Great news: you'll find a mini-refrigerator in every resort room at Walt Disney World. My family usually brings or
orders groceries so we can eat breakfast in our hotel room, so we always keep milk, yogurt tubes, fruit, veggies, and cheese sticks our room's refrigerator. It's also handy for leftover treats – we almost always have half a cupcake in there!
Note that these refrigerators do not have freezers. If you'll need ice, there are ice machines located on each floor of your resort or in the resort's Quick-Service dining location. If you're planning to bring a cooler into the theme parks, please check Walt Disney World Resort's
Park Rules to be sure your cooler's size complies, and you'll want to bring some resealable bags to fill with ice, as loose ice is not permitted in the theme parks. (Resealable bags are one of my top packing must-haves, as they are handy for so many things!)
If you're curious about the amenities you'll find in your resort hotel room, visit the
Room Rates page, and for each room category, click "View Amenities" on the top left. One amenity you won't find in this list, but is a super awesome coming-soon addition to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort:
Disney Skyliner Transportation. Opening in Fall 2019, this new transportation option will allow Guests to glide through the skies in Disney-themed gondola cars to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and select resort hotels. I can't wait to have a Tiki Bird's-eye view of my happy place from the Skyliner later this year!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
