Hey there, Lorraine! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. Chatting Disney with my pals is my favorite!
Eek! In just one month, you'll be arriving at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, ready to begin your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. How exciting! I absolutely LOVE the laid-back, tropical vibe of Caribbean Beach Resort.
The dining options are fantastic (
Banana Cabana is one of my favorite little spots in all of Walt Disney World Resort!), the pool is oh-so-fun, and being right at the main hub of the
Disney Skyliner makes getting to EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios and anywhere else along the Skyliner a tropical breeze. Speaking of Disney transportation, let's get to your great question!
To get from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to
Disney's Contemporary Resort, just take a bus from Caribbean Beach to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, either take the lovely ten-minute walk over to the Contemporary or hop the monorail over. From Magic Kingdom Park, the Contemporary is the first stop on the Resort monorail loop, so, if there is no wait for the monorail, this will likely be your fastest and easiest route. However, I love the magical stroll from Magic Kingdom Park to the Contemporary! If you are traveling to the Contemporary for a dining reservation, I recommend giving yourself at least 90 minutes for travel to make sure you arrive on time. If you happen to arrive early, just grab a drink from
Outer Rim or
Steakhouse 71 Lounge, explore the Resort, shop, or take a stroll out to the Resort's beautiful marina on Bay Lake. Enjoy!
While you're enjoying your time at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I
must recommend dining at
Sebastian's Bistro. This spot is a hidden gem and is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World Resort. I think you will love it, too!
I hope this was helpful, Lorraine, and I hope you have THE most magical upcoming adventure! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
