Hey, Cambria. Welcome to planDisney.
Disney is committed to providing an excellent Guest experience. Therefore, there are times when certain attractions, restaurants, or pools are temporarily closed down for maintenance. Although this can be frustrating in the short run, it means that Walt Disney World remains safe, clean, and well cared for.
You're absolutely correct that the
Fuentes del Morro Pool is scheduled to be closed for routine maintenance from January 2024 through April 2024.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort does have five other leisure pools for Guests to use. In order to use the pools at other Disney Resorts Collection hotels, I'm afraid you'd have to be staying there. I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear, Cambria. However, let me suggest staying at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Not only is the pricing similar, but there are also similar amenities offered.
Having personally stayed at Grand Destino Tower last year, I guarantee you'll love it. The Dig Site Pool is fantastic! It's big and great for families to swim and play together. There's even a volleyball court right next to the pool area too. The dining options are very impressive at Coronado Springs.
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood is a superb restaurant for that special occasion. The view is majestic! Then you have the
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago. Not only is the food delicious, but the setting is very relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. If you want to enjoy a romantic drink one evening, then head up to
Dahlia Lounge. As Abuela from Encanto says, "The Magic is strong — and so are the drinks!" Again, the views are amazing! Finally, I really loved ordering a Spanish-inspired coffee and a pastry every morning at
Barcelona Lounge. Your taste buds can't go wrong with any of these options.
Whatever you decide, I trust you'll have a magical time, Cambria. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
