Hi Betty!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by and dropping us a question about
Disneyland Resort tickets. We understand the unique needs of Guests with Special Needs, as well as their caregivers. The Disneyland Resort is very accommodating to ensure that all Guests can experience the magic and wonderment that
Disneyland Park and
Disney’s California Adventure Park have to offer.
Betty, Disneyland does not offer free entrance to caregivers of special needs children. In order for both of you to enter the parks, you would need to purchase a valid ticket for either park. Prior to doing that, you should check out the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar to ensure the availability of entry to the parks. Once you have viewed your desired days and they are available, you can proceed to book your tickets. May I suggest, depending on the need, you can look into the
Disability Access Service Pass. This will allow the child to enjoy the attractions in a more convenient way. You can speak with a Cast Member upon arrival to see if the child is eligible, or you can speak with a Cast Member via a live online chat, for the
DAS Advance. They will be able to walk you through the process and discuss whether the DAS will be appropriate for you.
We thank you for your question and I truly hope this helps you plan a most magical vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth!
