Welcome to planDisney, Diamond! Thanks for bringing your shining question to us today; like my favorite dwarfs, I'm happy to dig, dig, dig to uncover an answer to your question! Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, off to work I go!
When you purchase
Theme Park Tickets to visit the parks at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will have the option to assign them to yourself or any other Guest that is connected to your
My Disney Experience account on your
Family & Friends list. So, in short, the card used to purchase the tickets does not need to match the Guest that the ticket is purchased for, and you are able to purchase tickets for yourself or others!
Since we're talking tickets, Diamond, there are lots of
great options for your tickets, including some special ticket offers currently available to Guests who will be visiting between now and September. These tickets offer 3 or 4 days of admission to different theme parks on each day without the option to park hop, and the special offer pricing is something worth digging into if the dates align to your visit!
If you're interested in visiting more than one park on the same day, the
Park Hopper Option is another ticket add-on that allows the flexibility to explore multiple parks in one day. And don't forget to look into the
Disney Water Parks if you're looking to add a splash of extra fun during your visit - currently,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is available to guests and can be accessed with a separate one-day ticket or with the Water Park and Sports add-on to your standard theme park tickets.
Diamond, I hope this answer shines as bright as your name, and that you come back to
planDisney if you have any other vacation planning questions we can answer as you dig for magic!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
