    We'll have a car with us for the first time on our next Disney vacation. Do we need to pick up a parking pass from the hotel (AKL) on our day of arrival or can we go straight to a park and get the free parking? (We'll arrive before check-in.)

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I completely understand wanting to hit the ground running as soon as you arrive, so you can enjoy all the magic at the parks. You will absolutely be able to go straight to the parks upon arrival and as long as you have your MagicBands with you, the cast member at the parking gate will be able to scan those and see you are a Disney Resort Hotel guest so you won’t have to pay for parking. It’s just one of the many benefits of staying right in the middle of the magic!

    Be sure to schedule some time to enjoy Pandora- The World of Avatar during your visit. Avatar Flight of Passage is my new favorite attraction in the entire resort! It's just beyond belief. And don’t miss out on seeing how amazing this new land looks once the sun sets and all the bioluminescence starts glowing. It’s a sight!
