Ahoy there, Stephanie! Welcome aboard planDisney!
Ah, a cruise on the Disney Dream out of Miami in January! I can hardly think of a sweeter sentence, and sharing it with your crew of little sailors? Even better! As the dad of a little sailor myself, we always opt for
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation no matter where we sail from, and mostly for this reason!
I have good news! When it comes to car seats on the transportation itself, you won't need to bring them, as they are not required when riding in motor coaches. When my family sailed on the
Disney Wish earlier this year, our son actually fell asleep in our arms during the ride to the port! Whether that was a bit of "Disney Magic" or just luck, we loved being able to just hold him as we made our way to the port! Assuming you're also planning on not having your 4-year-old ride in a car seat during your travels to
Miami, you shouldn't need to bring the car seats at all, freeing-up major space for your crew in your stateroom!
One of our favorite parts of a
Disney Cruise Line vacation is how much we always feel safe and secure from beginning to end. I hope this helps put you more at ease about the all-important arrival and departure of your crew! Thank you so much for your question, Stephanie, and if any others come up while you finish planning, please drop me another line here at planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
