Car seat vs. lap for plane

    Hi there, Julieann!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited that you stopped by with questions about planning for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  A trip to Walt Disney World Resort is one for the memory books and will be a vacation you will remember forever.

Travel arrangements is always something worth considering and I love that you are asking the question about bringing a car seat vs. not bringing one.  If you opt to stay at one of Walt Disney World Resort’s hotel properties, you will have the opportunity to use the Magical Express which is complimentary transportation from Orlando International Airport to your resort.  They will even take care of ensuring your luggage makes its way to your resort without you having to gather it form the baggage terminal!  Super convenient when traveling with littles!  A car seat is not required for the Magical Express transportation, and you would just keep your child on your lap during the ride to your resort.  Once you arrive at your accommodations for the week, you will likely not need a car seat unless you plan on renting your own vehicle for use.  Walt Disney World Resort offers complimentary transportation between the theme parks and the Resort hotels – via bus, boat or monorail.  None of these require car seat for your littles, so you would not need one there either!

Hopefully this information helps guide you in making your airline reservation plans!  Feel free to come back with any additional planning questions you may have!
