Hello there Susan! Thanks for coming back to planDisney with another great question!
I know how important having a car seat for your little Mouseketeers can be, and also how it can be challenging at times to travel with a car seat during your vacation!
There is not car seat storage available at the theme parks, but there are
lockers for rent. There are a few sizes of lockers, but I did chat with a Cast Member, and even the largest locker size most likely would not fit a car seat, unless it was a small booster seat. I would not count on being able to store your car seat in one of the lockers at the theme parks.
However, if you are staying at one of the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, I highly recommend taking advantage of the complimentary
resort transportation options such as bus and water transportation, the Walt Disney World Monorail, and the Disney Skyliner! You will not need to bring a car seat on all of these modes of transportation, and you can even bring your stroller, you may just need to fold it up during your journey to your next destination. That is one of our favorite things about visiting Walt Disney World Resort, once we settle in at our hotel, we no longer need to worry about our car seats!
Another great option is to explore
Minnie Van™ Service. This is a very special experience where a friendly Cast Member will pick you up in your own Minnie Mouse themed vehicle! You can order and pay for Minnie Van™ Service through the Lyft app, and there is one complimentary car seat available. This could be a great option for you as well since you would not have to worry about bringing your own car seat. We had a great experience during our last trip, our helpful Cast Member picked us up from our hotel, and took us right to the Magic Kingdom Park entrance, it was so convenient!
I hope all of this information is helpful for your upcoming trip, Susan! I also recommend listening to the Walt Disney World Transportation episode of the planDisney podcast with my friends Nimmy and Lizzie, they share so many helpful tips. Please do not hesitate to
come back to planDisney with any other questions!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
