Hello- we have a Capture Your Moment photo session scheduled for my daughter's graduation. Does Disney provide any props (e.g., Class of 2026 sign) or do we have to bring our own? Thanks!

    Hi Tara. Welcome to planDisney.

First and foremost, a huge congratulations to your daughter on her upcoming graduation! As a parent, I know I don't have to tell you how quickly time passes. One moment, we're watching our little ones wave to Mickey Mouse in a parade, and in the blink of Mike Wazowski's eye, they're heading off to Monsters University!

I'm thrilled to hear that you've scheduled a Capture Your Moment session for this special occasion! This 20-minute photo session is a lot of fun and oh-so-magical. My family reserved a session in Magic Kingdom to celebrate my granddaughter's first visit to Walt Disney World. These photos have become treasured keepsakes.

From my experience, our PhotoPass photographer had a small sign that said "First Visit" and another sign featuring a picture of Cinderella Castle. However, these props are not guaranteed. The guidelines allow you to bring your own personal props, as long as they comply with the Walt Disney Resort Property Rules. For example, we brought along a special stuffed animal, some balloons, special ears, and a small sign. Feel free to bring your graduation cap or ears, a small sign, or any small keepsake that creates a sentimental moment. You'll also have the opportunity to discuss your props with your photographer when you arrive, and they will do their best to incorporate those into your photos.

I do recommend not bringing too many props. Taking pictures in The Most Magical Place on Earth is most often magical enough, and bringing too many props is a lot to fit into a 20-minute session.

Tara, I hope this information helps. I brought both of my children to Walt Disney World to celebrate their graduations, and to this day, those trips stand out as some of our best. Our favorite memory was reserving a reservation at the Seats & Sweets Fireworks Dessert Party. We toasted to non-alcoholic sparkling cider, and we all shed a tear of happiness watching Happily Ever After together. I hope you'll find a special way to create a lifelong memory together.

Please reach out if we can help with anything else. Enjoy this special year!

    Magical memories,
