Is there a Captain's dinner on the Fantasy , and what would be the dress code for a man? Would a sport coat and/or tie be needed?

    Ahoy, Charles!

We were just on the Disney Fantasy a couple of weeks ago and I already miss all the themed dinners and evenings onboard. What an awesome way to enjoy a vacation -- with so much quality and style!

On our optional Semi-Formal evening (night 6), we celebrated a themed dinner menu onboard aptly named, "Captains Gala" Dinner. An excellent selection of seafood dishes were on the menu and everything was yummy! It was Lobster night... and my son was even given a couple servings of lobster, just for the heck of it -- OK, so our servers saw how much he was enjoying it :-).

On this evening, ties and jackets or coats for men are not required. You are most welcome to wear them and look very dapper of course! The midship lobby atrium on Deck 3 was a flurry of activity in the evening as the Captain and some of his crew members were out mingling with guests. These are great photo opportunities and the ship's officers are so nice to spend as much time to answer questions from guests. You might even find some officers trading pins with guests! It was great to see so many of the cast and crew in their white uniforms taking photos and chatting with everyone.

I hope this information helps, Charles. Please do let us know if you need any additional information.

    Have a great day!
