Are Cape May Character Breakfast and Mickey's BBQ both on the DDP? How many credits for each? And if you had to choose between the two, which one would you pick for a 3 year old boy? Arr 9/21/13

    Hi Hilary!

My son and I love the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort and Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground!  Yes, both of these dining places are on the 2013 Disney Dining Plan.  The Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast is 1 Table Service Dining Credit and Mickey's Backyard BBQ is 2 Table Service Dining Credits.  Mickey's Backyard BBQ is picnic style dining with summer picnic type of food.  There is a live country band and children get to dance with Disney characters.  The Cape May Cafe features a wonderful breakfast buffet with one on one interaction with Disney characters in a quiet setting.  The characters will sign autographes and pose for pictures with guests.  The Disney characters come around a lot at Cape May Cafe and you may be able to visit with each of them more than once.  Mickey's Backyard BBQ is larger with a couple of hundred people and can be quite loud and busy at times.  If your child is concerned about these things, then Cape May Cafe would be a great choice.  If your child loves to dance and interact with characters, then Mickey's Backyard BBQ would be wonderful for your family.

I hope that you make magical memories with your family on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
