Hi Tami! Welcome back to planDisney. It's nice to see you here again, and always a pleasure to assist a fellow Virginian!
I have been reading rave reviews of the
new family-style dining experience at Cape May Cafe, and I will be getting my chance to try it all next month! My husband and I are big seafood fans, and my daughter thinks every day is steak day, so this is the perfect dinner for my family. And don't even get me started on the starter rolls and spreads! YUM.
I am very happy (for both of us!) to confirm that the family-style dinner at
Cape May Cafe is all-you-care-to-enjoy, so if you would like more of anything on the
menu, you only need to ask your server. Note that add-on items like the Whole Lobster and Alaskan Snow Crab Legs don't fall under this - you will pay for each order of these. Similarly, all beverages are at an additional cost. You will receive both the "surf" (seafood boil) and the "turf" (chicken and beef) items listed on the menu for your table to enjoy. I am so excited to try this whole menu next month, and I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you're able to get a reservation here on your upcoming vacation!
You have great taste, Tami, because
Boma - Flavors of Africa is another of my favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort. Their brunch is absolutely incredible! Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Dining: Know Before You Go webpage for updates - as the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort continues, I can't wait to see more restaurants become available.
I have worked up a Pooh-sized rumbly in my tumbly answering your question! I'm so glad you stopped by, and I hope you'll come back and see us again if you think of any more questions as you plan and dream about your autumn Disney visit. Enjoy every minute - and every bite!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
