Hello, Loretta!
Welcome to planDisney, it's lovely to have you here!
There are three parking areas for theme park visitors:
- Mickey & Friends Parking Structure
- Pixar Pals Parking Structure
- Toy Story Parking Area
To minimize your walking, I would recommend paying a little bit extra for a
Preferred Parking spot which would put you closer to the elevators or escalators. From there, you'll have a short walk to either a tram or a bus (depending on where you parked) to transport you to the Esplanade.
Wheelchair rentals are available in the Esplanade, just to the east of the Disneyland Park entrance.
I would also recommend exploring the
Mobility Disabilities page of the Disneyland website to learn more about experiencing the parks with a wheelchair. The
Disneyland Park Guidemap for Guests with Disabilities and
Disney California Adventure Park Guidemap for Guests with Disabilities have great information as well, including wheelchair transfer requirements for each attraction.
Are you perhaps an aspiring Jedi? Because
Season of the Force is in full, well, force at Disneyland Park! Whether you decide to fly to a new destination on
Star Tours - The Adventures Continue or you explore Batuu looking for a new droid (and you should definitely look, the new droids are adorable) there is a lot of out-of-this-world excitement going on right now!
My best advice is to walk or roll at your own pace during your visit, Loretta. Don't be afraid to take breaks (preferably with a great snack) and sit back while you enjoy the parks. You never know when you might spot some magic!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
