Can't wait, only 19 days until our disney dream vacation begins! Do you know what the freezer space is inside the hotel fridgerators? I want to freeze water bottles, ice packs and a mini cooler that works by placing it in the freezer overnight.Thank You

    Hi, Judey!

There are a couple different size refrigerators at Disney resorts.  If you are staying at a Deluxe Villa, you will have a full refrigerator/freezer.   If you are staying at a Moderate or Deluxe, the refrigerators are small with a very small freezer section that I am not sure would even fit a water bottle.  In the Value Resorts, they have what many call "beverage coolers" that do not have a freezer section but are great for chilling drinks.

There are ice machines at all the resorts if that helps.  I like to bring ziploc bags and fill those with ice and place those in my cooler.   This way all my food/drink stays dry but I still keep everything cool with fresh ice each trip to the parks.

I hope that you find the refrigerators to be sufficient for all you travel needs.  Have a great time in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
