I cant wait to take my 2 yr old to Disney. I wouldn't say we are on a TIGHT budget, but we like the finer things in life. Can you suggest any thing to us to have a wonderful time at Disney without spending alot. It will be our daughter's 2nd birthday.

Hi Theresa! Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate your 2-year-old daughter's birthday! Taking children under three to Disney is budget-friendly too: You don't have to purchase theme park tickets for them, and since the majority of the attractions don't have height requirements, there's lots for them to do! Also, children two and under can eat free at Disney World: at counter-service and table-service restaurants you can share your meal with your toddlers and at the buffets, they can make their own plates at no charge! Consider celebrating your daughter's birthday at Chef Mickey's -- not only will her meal be free, but Mickey and friends will stop by your table to visit and do a special celebration dance through the restaurant!

Disney has resort hotels for every price range. Since you like the finer things in life, you'd love Disney's Deluxe resorts. The resorts on the monorail route are super-convenient when you have a little one, but that convenience costs you more than some of the other resorts. Consider the Wilderness Lodge resort, which is just a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom and less expensive than the monorail resorts. If your budget is tighter,  check out the value resorts. They're not luxurious, but have fun themes, are usually less than $100 per night, and like all Disney resorts, give you perks such as extra hours in the parks and the free Magical Express airport shuttle service. You'll often find discounted resort room rates and  vacation packages on the Special Offers page on the Disney website. Sign up to receive emails about WDW vacations, and you might even find a special discount from Disney in your email box. Also, take a peek at the unofficial site, where you'll find lots of tips for saving money on your Disney vacation.

Hope your little princess has a magical birthday!
