Can't wait for our upcoming trip in Nov. We are wanting to try MVMCP. I understand you have to have seperate tickets for this but do we need park hopper if we go to AK in the morning and then MVMCP in the evening?

    Hi Tiffany,

Welcome back to the Moms Panel!

You will not need park hopper tickets in order to spend the early part of the day at Animal Kingdom and then go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that evening. In fact, that sounds like a great plan.

We usually find that we can take in most of the attractions at Animal Kingdom in less than a day, especially if we arrive at opening time. You also are coming in early November, when crowds typically aren't heavy. And the park likely will close by 6 p.m. or so because it is only open during daylight hours. .

Your tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be your admission tickets to Magic Kingdom. You won't need to use your regular tickets. The party starts at 7 p.m., but guests with party tickets often are admitted as early as 4 p.m.

I highly recommend the party. Because admission is limited, you have easier access to the popular rides and attractions. And all the extras -- the snow on Main Street, the special fireworks, the Christmas-themed parade and more -- make for a magical visit.
