I can't wait to run my first runDisney race in February - The Princess Half! We have reservations at the Dolphin which isn't a host hotel. I wondering what the best strategy is to get to my corral in time - taxi, walk, wake up my poor husband at 3:00am?

    Hi, Sarah!

Congratulations on your first runDisney event! I think you will be surprised at how quickly 13.1 miles will fly by!

Although the Dolphin is convenient to the World Showcase entrance of Epcot, getting to the main entrance/staging area at that hour would not be the best of warmups.

Consider taking a taxi from the Dolphin. That's probably the most logistically simple for everyone concerned. You can arrange with the concierge the night before to have a car waiting for you in the morning -- in true Princess fashion, your carriage will await! And that way, your husband won't have to work through race-day traffic at the staging area, return to the Dolphin, park, etc. He'll be bright-eyed and ready to snap loads of pictures of you -- and your bling!!

Maybe I'll see you at the finish line!

Keep up the training, and --

    See you later, celebrator!
