We can't wait to return to WDW in Spring 2016 (just there Aug. 2015)! We'd like to know about April vs. May weather, plus the dates for STAR WARS WEEKENDS. Our family is hooked on Disney World! Thanks for your help!

    Helen,

I totally understand being hooked on Walt Disney World!  From the day I first visited as a child, I simply can't get enough of the magic of Disney.

If you visit in April, you'll find that the average temperature is 71 degrees with an average high of 83 degrees and an average low of 59 degrees. If you visit in May, the average daily temperature is 77 degrees with an average high of 89 degrees and an average low of 65 degrees.  May also averages 8 days of rain per month while April averages 6 days of rain.

Now I feel like I have to go to the Dark Side to share with you that Star Wars Weekends won't be offered this year because of the renovations happening at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  However, you can enjoy Star Wars Launch Bay, Star Tours - The Adventures Continue,  Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular, and even a chance to meet Kylo Ren.  All these attractions and entertainment should give you a chance to experience and enjoy a Star Wars themed day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  In fact if you'd like to splurge a bit, Symphony in the Stars:  A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is a wonderful treat that combines Star Wars themed desserts and beverages with reserved viewing for the show.

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know. We are happy to help.

May you have another trip filled with many unforgettable moments!
