We can't wait for January! The day we check in to AKL at 4:00 we have a 6:15 ADR for HDDR. Would you advise using the bus to MK and then the ferry? Or would it make more sense to take a taxi since the timing is tight? Thanks for the help!

    Hi Leo,

I am sure you cannot wait for your magical trip to Walt Disney World! I am so excited to hear that you have chosen to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is a magnificent hotel that offers a truly unique experience. In just six weeks, I will be staying there myself for the second time and am looking forward to seeing all the animals again.

You have also picked a spectacular way to start your vacation, as well. The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue also happens to be my all-time favorite dinner show. Get ready to fill your belly with delicious southern favorites such as fried chicken and bbq ribs. Be sure to save room for the strawberry shortcake dessert. The entertainment is phenomenal and is sure to please everyone in your party. It is so good, you will be stomping your feet and clapping your hands without even realizing it.

In regards to transportation to the show, I always recommend at least an hour when traveling between resorts. This is because you will have to make that transfer from bus to ferry. So, if it is in your budget and you want to give yourself an extra cushion of time and not feel rushed, a taxi is a wonderfully quick and direct alternative. Otherwise, be sure to allow yourself that hour to hour and fifteen minutes for resort transportation

    Have a magical trip!
