Can't wait to get "home for the holiday"! Do you happen to know the hours that "chestnuts roasting over an open fire" are offered at the Grand Floridian? My daughter loves them. Merry Christmas!

    Hi Michael,

There's nothing like going "home" for the holidays, especially when you're greeted by Mickey, the lights are left on by Cinderella, and chestnuts are roasting at the Grand Floridian!

During the holiday season, guests are handed complimentary chestnuts at the front entrance to the main lobby. If you arrive by monorail, you'll need to go down to the first floor and out the front doors. Outside, the Cast Member is truly roasting chestnuts over an open fire!

There's often hot cider available at a festive table as well. Reportedly, some guests arrived around 4 p.m. and the cider service had closed, however the chestnuts were still being handed out.

I have not seen an official listing of hours for the chestnuts but they seem to be offered throughout most of the day and evening!

Merry Christmas and enjoy a magical visit to WDW!
