Can't wait for our first time at the Food and Wine Fest on 9/30! If we load money to a wrist card for this event and don't spend it all, what are the options to do with the leftover funds? Is there any DO NOT MISS item? You all are great!

Luckily, the "wrist cards" are nothing more than miniature gift cards with special logos, Lori, so if you don't exhaust your funds at the festival (wishful thinking, right?), you can use them as you would any other gift card.

As for not to be missed items, well, where should I start?  Oh, I know, how about with the new additions?  For the first time, the festival will feature a Hawaiian marketplace complete with taster sized portions of  Kalua pork sliders and tuna poke with seaweed salad and lotus root chips.  To wet your whistle, try a  Seven Tiki Mai Tai or a Kona Longboard or Pipeline beer.  Also new will be the Caribbean Islands marketplace, serving ropa vieja with rice and jerk-spiced chicken with mango salsa.  On my MUST list is a frozen Rock Coconut Mojito, though the a frozen Dragon Berry Colada is tempting as well.  The new Portugal marketplace will delight guests with calamari salad with olives and smoked paprika.  They'll also have a Portugal Wine Bar!

With so many new tastes to try, somehow I doubt you'll have any trouble spending all the money on your festival gift card, Lori!  Happy indulging!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
