We can't wait for our eight day visit to Disney World! Can my husband and our 2 adult daughters visit some of the Disney Resorts like the Animal Kingdom Lodge even if we are staying in a non-Disney hotel? Thanks in advance, Rebecca

    Hi Rebecca,

Absolutely!  I highly recommend that you visit the Disney resorts no matter where you are staying in the Lake Buena Vista area.  In fact, I suggest you call and make some advance dining reservations at the delightful restaurants found in these resorts.  For instance, if you'd like to explore Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (and who wouldn't?), call (407) WDW-DINE to book breakfast or dinner at Boma.  This is a wonderfully imaginative and tasty buffet on the ground floor of Jambo House at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  After (or before) your meal, head out the back of the main lobby to visit the animals on the savanna.  I stayed at this resort in March and was enchanted by the atmosphere.

Are there other Disney resorts you'd like to visit during your vacation?  If so, post another question to me and I'll give you a list of "must-see" attractions at those resorts.  I'd be delighted to help a fellow New Jerseyan find as much magic as possible during your vacation.
