Happy Easter Robin and Welcome Back!
What a great time of year to bring this hoppin' good question to us! I am always thrilled to greet a fellow North Carolinian and am delighted to hear that you plan to visit during one of our favorite springtime events at the Walt Disney World Resort - the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. We have much to anticipate leading up to the
50th anniversary and beyond!
The Easter decorations are gorgeous and can be found throughout the parks and resorts. We took note of what to expect last year when the Disney Parks Blog published the
Foodie Guide to Easter 2019 at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts. My favorites are the chocolate egg displays at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Contemporary Resort - these were on display last year through April 27th. Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts also displayed decorative chocolate eggs through April 27th while Disney's BoardWalk Resort's display was up until April 21st.
Also check out the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival - Fun for Kids of All Ages which includes the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt. This year it was scheduled from March 27 - April 12 (dates are contingent on supplies lasting). Be sure to consider making a visit to Disney Springs during your visit -
A Hoppin' Guide to Easter Offerings at Disney Springs includes some great info on special treats that might brighten the spirit (of course the sweet treats are my favorite). Although dates and treats could vary, I hope this gives you an idea of what might be in store for your visit!
Robin, even though we adore the topiary displays at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, I continue to be impressed by the
Garden Rocks™ Concert Series. Check the schedule to find your favorite artists and then
be there or be square!
Rock on!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
