Howdy Pat!
Welcome back to
planDisney! We love it when a guest stops back by with a question! Thank you for sharing your questions with us!
I have personally explored the
Walt Disney World Resort with two scooters. The Walt Disney World Resort does an amazing job making accommodations for all guests! I can share my experience of adventuring the Walt Disney World Resort with two scooters so that you will have an idea of what to expect! From your resort hotel to the theme parks, you will have several
transportation options depending on which one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels you are calling home for the week! If you need to take the Walt Disney World bus transportation, some of the buses offer space for two scooters, but some only have room for one. When taking bus transportation, you may be put on two separate buses, but no worries, there is always another bus, “Just Around the Riverbend!” If you are taking one of the Friendship boats, typically, there is no problem boarding two scooters on the same boat. When taking a monorail from your resort hotel to the theme parks, Hakuna Matata, No Worries! Two scooters can easily board the same monorail.
Disney’s Skyliner will allow you to drive your scooter easily onto the gondola! Each gondola can only hold one scooter, but the second scooter will be able to board the next gondola and whisk you off to Neverland!
You will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort at the perfect time! “
The World’s Most Magical Celebration” will be underway, celebrating 50 years since Mickey opened the doors to guests at the Walt Disney World Resort! This 18-month event will be a monumental moment in Walt Disney World history, and you will be visiting just in time to be part of this celebration! To stay informed of everything as it is announced for this once-in-a-lifetime event, go to “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and “Sign Up!”
Your vacation will be here before you know it, and there will be lots to see and do during your visit! To stay up-to-date on everything scheduled to re-open (including concierge rooming), new attractions, new dining experiences, and so much more, check out the
Disney Parks Blog! If you have any more questions about getting around with your scooters, the 50th anniversary, or any other questions, please return to planDisney! We look forward to helping you with all your planning questions, Pat!
See Ya Real Soon,
Tamela
