I cant seem to find what time buses run FROM Parks to resorts. Staying at BLT and have a 9am reservation at Cape May. Would have loved to walk over to MK and take a direct bus. I would change to a later reservation to be able to do this if I knew! Thanks!

    Hi Lorin,

You are definitely in for a treat with an upcoming stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! Located just steps away from Magic Kingdom Park, with easy access to Disney’s monorail and water launch transportation over the Seven Seas Lagoon, you will literally be vacationing in the center of all the Magic.

I am pleased to confirm that you will most certainly be able to take Disney's complimentary Resort transportation to your Disney Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort.

You mentioned you would like to walk over from Bay Lake Tower to the Magic Kingdom bus depot to pick up a bus heading to the Beach Club, and I think that is a great idea. I am advised by a Disney Cast Member that buses should be running from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney Resort hotels by approximately 6:45 a.m. each day. As your Cape May Cafe reservation is at 9 a.m. you should plan to arrive at the Magic Kingdom bus depot by 8 a.m. to ensure that you have enough time to make it to your dining reservation. Generally buses will depart the Magic Kingdom for each Disney Resort hotel approximately every 20 minutes.  However, at that time of day, when most Guests are arriving, rather than departing the Magic Kingdom, I have personally found that the schedules will vary somewhat based on demand. Therefore, I recommend that on arrival at the bus depot you try to track down a Cast Member in the area or speak with a bus driver in order to ensure that a bus will be dispatched to take you to the Beach Club.

Wishing you a magic upcoming Disney vacation and wonderful stay at Bay Lake Tower!
